PAUL EARNEST

Paul is a seasoned professional in the golf industry. He was raised in Houston and competed in Houston Golf Association Junior Program. He played golf for 4 years at The University of Texas while receiving his BBA - Marketing degree. After graduating he began his career on the opening team for Barton Creek Club and Conference Center in 1986 and the opening team as Director of Golf for the Hyatt Hill Country Resort.

Paul spent 20 years as Director of Golf at Four Seasons Resort and Club, home of the PGA Tour Byron Nelson Championship. In 2018, he transitioned to the role of General Manager at the Woodlands Country Club in Houston, Texas.

He competed in 7 PGA TOUR events including the 1998 PGA Championship and served 10 years on the NTPGA Board including President 2014 and 2015.

Paul was awarded the National PGA Merchandiser of the Year, Resort Category in 2004.

He and his wife, Shelley, have a daughter, Logan, that is a senior at Baylor University and has accepted a job in Sept. 2018 for ExxonMobil and will live in The Woodlands. Their son Brandon is a sophomore at Oklahoma University.

Paul loves the outdoors, sports of all kinds, and competition.
